La Paisanita Tacos - Authentic Mexican Tacos and More in Dallas

Got the pollo taco. The chicken was a bit dry but the flavor was good. Their red and green sauce was delicious. I wish the sautéed onions were more flavorful.

I used to really like this place. You could get some good tacos for a reasonable price, though recently it seems the prices have gotten just a bit out of control while the portions seem smaller. But the food is still really good! And I gave two stars for the service because the cashier just seems super annoyed whenever you order. I will continue to support these guys because they’re OG Oak Cliff, though that support unfortunately will probably only be on paydays from now on.

La Paisanita Taqueria serves up some solid Mexican fare, offering a variety of tacos, burritos, and other traditional dishes. While the food is generally flavorful, it can sometimes be inconsistent. Me and my wife have been trying to find a good local taco spot for the past 2 years. And now we have found it. Located near the bishop arts area that is. We use to go to the taco spot in dallas thats now "pink" but that spot is no longer as good as it use . The service was quick , its self seating and you order at the front. They have about 12 main plates. We opted for the taco plate. With 2 fresh waters. Hochata and Jamaica. Both were really good and authentic, no powdered drink mixes. The tacos were really really good. Not too greasy, alot of meat and the meat was not over cooked. Rice and beans were also on point full of flavor.

Second time here and we love it Food was great, the girl taking our order was so nice! Fast delivery on the food too. Don’t listen to the haters and come enjoy some good food!! We came all the way from Frisco

In a world of Corporate franchises branding themselves as authentic, this is a real authentic Mexican Taqueria. The food, the staff, the music, the patrons, everyone was Mexican I was the only Middle Eastern dude there. They were very welcoming and kind, the prices were decent and the portions are large as well. A great little authentic Taqueria to visit. Will be back.

If your looking for a new favorite taco spot I highly recommend you check them out. Ive been to several up and down the street but La Paisanita is the best. Nice clean restaurant with a good atmosphere. The food is always delicious as I've never been disappointed with anything. The horchata is amazing with some green salsa and spicy food! Great place for the whole family with many options and a safe dinning experience. Just watch out for the little kids coming in to sell churros. They where by far the best sweet desert I've ever had...
